Join us for our Devolution Manifesto Webinar
We’re inviting colleagues from across the VCFSE sector to join us for a webinar on Tuesday 8 July from 3pm to 4pm, where we’ll be sharing the work we’ve done so far to develop a devolution manifesto for Cheshire and Warrington.
Cheshire and Warrington is part of the government’s Devolution Priority Programme (DPP), with plans in place to establish a Combined Authority and hold mayoral elections in May 2026. Since the DPP announcement, we, alongside our CWIP partners, have been working closely with the VCFSE sector and public sector stakeholders to ensure our voice is heard and included in shaping what comes next.
One of our key aims has been to develop a manifesto, setting out the VCFSE sector’s vision and highlighting the invaluable role the sector can play in achieving the priorities set out for devolution.
This webinar will introduce the work that has already taken place to develop the manifesto and how we can all work together, speaking with one voice, to make sure the sector influences devolution as effectively as possible in the coming months.
CWIP is supported by Voluntary Sector North West (VSNW) and brings together local infrastructure organisations across the region:
